A&E Nurse - South East London
Start Date: ImmediatePay Range: £22 - £28 per hour
Do you love providing compassionate care to patients who suffer from illnesses or injuries?
Working as an A&E nurse, you will be working in a fast-paced environment and responsible for providing excellent care to patients attending the emergency department.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting preliminary patients examinations to ascertain the patients condition
- Carry out and assist with nursing procedures and treatments as required, in accordance with trust policies and guidelines.
- Taking basic observations
- Ability to priorities and manage work loads
- Applying dressings, administering pain relief, antibiotics and other medicine as prescribed by the doctor
- Develop professional partnerships required to deliver high quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and caregivers.
- Clear verbal and written communication with all members of the multidisciplinary team in one’s department and key departments that support the clinical field.
- Follow the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other related guidance papers for supporting and sustaining professional practice standards.
