We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in Community Paediatrics to join our child health team. This role focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of children with developmental, behavioural, neutralizability, and complex health needs within a community setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessments for children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Oversee care planning for children with complex needs, including safeguarding and child protection assessments.
• Work collaboratively with schools, social care, and multidisciplinary health teams to provide holistic support.
• Participate in statutory assessments for education and health care plans (EHCPs).
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and contribute to training initiatives.
• Engage in clinical audits, service development, and governance activities.
• Adhere to GMC standards and safeguarding policies to ensure high-quality, child-centred care.
