Consultant - Adult Psychiatry

Start Date: ImmediatePay Range: £95to £105 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our mental health services team. This role involves leading the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a range of mental health conditions, ensuring the highest standards of care across inpatient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert psychiatric assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Manage and oversee care for patients with complex mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and personality disorders.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Supervise and support junior doctors and allied mental health professionals.
- Contribute to clinical governance, service development, research, and audit activities.
- Ensure compliance with the GMC, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding policies.
