We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurses to work day shifts across healthcare settings in Mid Cheshire.

Regular and ad hoc shifts are available, providing flexible working opportunities to suit your availability. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering safe, effective and patient-centred care while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care tailored to each patient’s individual clinical needs.
• Perform nursing procedures, administer medications and provide treatments in line with trust policies, care plans and professional standards.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, recognise signs of deterioration and escalate clinical concerns promptly and appropriately.
• Maintain accurate, timely and confidential nursing records throughout each shift.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, relatives, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Promote patient dignity, privacy, independence, safeguarding and informed decision-making.
• Follow infection prevention, medication management, health and safety and clinical governance procedures.
• Provide clear and accurate patient handovers to support continuity and safety of care.
• Support colleagues and contribute to the effective organisation and delivery of nursing care.
• Uphold professional standards in accordance with the NMC Code.

Essential Requirements

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent experience working within a relevant hospital, ward or clinical environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and respond appropriately to changes in patients’ conditions.
• Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete all required employment, compliance and safeguarding checks.

• Regular and ad hoc day shifts are available across Mid Cheshire.
