Registered Mental Health Nurses

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurses to work across healthcare settings in Hampshire.
Regular bookings and ad hoc shifts are available, providing flexibility for nurses seeking consistent assignments or additional shifts alongside their current commitments.
This role requires a strong commitment to delivering safe, effective, and person-centred mental health care while working collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care for patients with a range of mental health needs.
- Carry out comprehensive mental health assessments and contribute to personalised care and risk management plans.
- Deliver and support therapeutic interventions in line with trust policies, clinical guidelines, and agreed care plans.
- Monitor patients’ mental and physical wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes in their condition.
- Administer medications safely and accurately while monitoring effectiveness and potential side effects.
- Support patients experiencing distress, behavioural challenges, or mental health crises using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Communicate effectively and sensitively with patients, families, carers, and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records.
- Promote patient dignity, independence, recovery, safeguarding, and informed decision-making.
- Uphold professional standards in line with the NMC Code and relevant mental health legislation.
