Working as a General Nurse, you will be responsible for managing a wide variety of patients and conditions, dealing with both acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Strive to maintain the highest standard of patient care at all times by using the nursing process to assess patient’ individual needs, plan care within the overall framework of nursing, implementation and evaluate nursing care
• Carry out and assist with nursing procedures and treatments as required, in accordance with trust policies and guidelines.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of Team Nursing or other framework to organise the delivery of care.
• Develop professional partnerships required to deliver high quality patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and caregivers.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and ethical reasoning in assessing the mental and physical care of the patient. Moreover provide support, empathy, and reassurance in the delivery of patient care.
• Clear verbal and written communication with all members of the multidisciplinary team in one’s department and key departments that support the clinical field.
• Follow the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other related guidance papers for supporting and sustaining professional practice standards.
